It is party season. I repeat, IT IS PARTY SEASON! The invites for thanksgiving gatherings, family get-togethers and, soon, the Christmas parties will be flooding in. As the wonderful party guest you are, the search has already begun for that perfect recipe that won’t take all day to make but will make the best addition to the party spread. Look no further!
Today, I am featuring 10 of my best appetizers that your crowd will love and don’t involve you destroying your kitchen in the process! Delicious doesn’t have to be complicated and these appetizers prove it!
Sit back, relax and get your printer ready, because these recipes will meet all your partying needs!
These poppers are a personal favorite because of their bright coloring and ease of pop-ability, which make them a perfect appetizer for a crowd! A little prep time and a quick whirl of ingredients in the mini food processor, make these a favorite go to!
First of all, these are adorable…I mean they basically look like Rudolph’s red nose, but if that doesn’t hook you, they are a cinch to pull together. If you love the zesty kick that feta brings to the table, you will love these little guys. Super quick to pull together, and if you are in a pinch, whip up the sauce and serve fresh veggies on the side!
Of all the appetizers, this is definitely the most time-consuming, however, it is also my favorite. We are still talking a 30-40 minute time-range, though, and if you feel like impressing, this is the appetizer for you. A little work goes a long way when BUTTER SAUCE is involved. Total heart-eyes for this one.
Ah, cranberry season, so pretty and bright but everyone is trying to figure out what to make other than cranberry sauce. Well, here you are! A little bubbling sugary action in the sauté pan, swirled into cream cheese and this beautiful spread is sure to attract everyone’s attention. Serve with crackers, pretzels or crusty bread.
File these in the easy-but-impressive category because although they look fancy, they only require a few easy steps and are totally finger accessible for the party scene. Roast the peppers (or don’t) and whip up that creamy pimento spread, then serve these little boats to all your friends!
I had almost forgotten about this little hidden gem! If you are comfortable with roasting squash, then this pretty orange-hued spread is for you! The caramelized onions are totally optional but seriously how FAN-SAY do they look?!
A relaxed party is probably my favorite, the kind where everyone is close and no tongs are necessary when a trail mix is present. This salty sweet blend is most comfortable in this setting and great for crunching on till the turkey is served! (Chocolate melts though, y’all, so grab a napkin please and thank you.)
It is no party in our home if deviled eggs aren’t present, but it is fun to switch things up a bit and remix the traditional recipe. I am hesitant to do such things on a classic, but these are well worth the risk! The smokiness from chipotle and saltiness of bacon is a delicious blend <3
Oh hi there pumpkin season. We got you. We already have pumpkin pie for dessert so why not bring the pumpkin situation to appetizer time?! Easy to whip up and is sure to honor that pumpkin spiced sweetness we all love.
The options for this sauce are endless, but I am picturing a quick toasting of little gnocchi pasta dipped in this goodness. Or better yet, tortilla chips for dayzzzz.
