Double Cheese Fig Panini
Serves: 4 sandwiches
  • 8 slices bread [large loaf]
  • 4 tbsp. fig preserves
  • 2 oz. Cabot Hot Habanero Cheddar (sliced thinly or shredded)
  • 4 oz. Havarti (sliced thinly or shredded)
  • DeLallo Balsamic Glaze(about a teaspoon per sandwich)
  • cooking spray
  1. Heat a griddle, Panini press or skillet to medium heat and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Spread fig preserves on each four slices of bread and top with shredded or sliced cheeses.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the cheese and top with remaining half of bread.
  4. Place in press and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes or until brown.
  5. Serve!
*If not using a Panini press, it will take slightly longer to cook as you will need to flip the sandwich to the other side for about 2-3 minutes more.
*I love the balsamic flavor in this sandwich, however, if you don't have any on hand, you can omit and it is still delicious!
