Crock Pot Pear and Cranberry Dessert

  • 5 cups chopped pears
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup orange juice
  • ⅔ cup water
  • 8 pitted dates (minced)
  1. Chop pears into bite sized pieces, and chop pitted dates very finely and add to slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Cook for 10 hours on low. If a more syrup texture is desired (as shown) allow to cook for 4 more hours on high.
Serve over cake, bread, yogurt or ice cream…sky’s the limit!
