Quick n’ Spicy Guac

Guac Main

I think I just got chills.

Surely everyone gets chills when speaking of avocados, right?  Don’t answer that.

That super yummy pear-shaped fruit of bright-green goodness sitting on my windowsill until ripe perfection just warms my heart.

So much so that I purchase three four six at every grocery run.

A home in the summer, without avocados, is no happy home for us. I try my best to get that perfect transition time when I have 1-2 perfectly ripe avocados, while the rest are reaching their prime of life.

But it has happened—the unthinkable. That moment when your fresh burrito bowl sits before you, all cheesy and cilantro covered, and all your avocados are GREEN. Not a ripe avocado to be found.

Dramatic? No.

The struggle is real.

You avocado lovers get me. And I love you for that.

I digress.

A favorite use of said avocados for this Mexican food-loving heart, is guacamole, Easy Spicy Guac’ to be exact. Is Guac even a word? I feel like it is acceptable these days…but maybe not. Either way, it is here. Thanks for allowing that ya’ll.

Fresh avocados flavored with lime juice, cilantro, tomatoes and a few spices make this guacamole a winning combination. So take your burrito bowls/tacos/chicken breasts/ALL THINGS to the next level with this Easy Spicy Guac. Its yummy factor will have you never looking back to the days of bland Mexican (*GASP* the blasphemy).
